Brownfield and solid waste treatment have become increasingly an environmental emergency, necessary to improve our habitat and the legislation on environment is focusing particularly on this topic.
A wrong waste disposal treatment has been polluting those sites that now need a land reclamation and industrial waste treatment.
This is a steadily developing field in which SIMEM is already active as we have formerly performed a SOLIDIFICATION/STABILIZATION (S/S) MOBILE PLANT, perfectly suitable for an on-site treatment of polluted soils where mainly advantages are following:
• Reduction of solid waste to be treated;
• Reduction of quantity and hazardousness of waste to be transported to the landfill;
• Peculiarity: it allows to create appropriate treatment receipts for particular pollutant types;
• Possible environmental impact limited only to brownfield;
• Saving on transport cost.

Mobile plant for mixing, sludge S/S and land reclaims, contained in two containers one over the other; production from 10 to 50 Ton/hr, variable according to the type of products and to the required S/S cycle.

The plant, in configuration of work, results to be closed and confined towards outside. The opening of charging hopper is protected from mobile hinges of transparent plastic material, the plant is closed with running insulating panels, that besides avoiding the outlet of dusts, constitute a efficient barrier phono-adsorbent. Furthermore two electro-ventilators suck up air from the zones with higher concentration of dust, by maintaining the whole internal ambient in constant depression and convoying this air towards two bags filter, in order to avoid any type of non-controlled emissions.

In this way, environment impacts are reduced at minimum and are made acceptable even in bad working conditions.
