Meeting the demands of customers consider the most modern technologies: this is the objective SIMEM reached in the design and construction of the BETON TOWER range of batching plants.

INNOVATION
The SIMEM Beton Tower series of vertical batching and mixing plants represent the state of the art technology for industrialized concrete production. The design of the Beton Tower’s square frame is innovative and includes many improvements from the traditional cylindrical frame like:
• Hot dip galvanization of all support structures and aggregate bins, reducing maintenance costs and increasing lifetime of the plant.
• Optimal positioning of dosing gates under aggregate bins reducing wear considerably compared to a cylindrical tower.
• The flat surface on the outside allow for a wide selection of claddings to protect against climate but also important requirements from authorities to meet architectural guidelines.

MODULARITY
Like all SIMEM batching and mixing plants, the Beton Tower is modular designed giving great flexibility to configure the plant to meet the clients specific needs, ready-mix or precast concrete.
The structure of BETON TOWER consists of 3 floors connected by a comfortable external scale ramps:

Upstairs: aggregates loading system: having the proper space, it can provided with belt conveyors or vertical elevators in order to minimize the plant dimensions.
The storage capacity of aggregates can arise from 130 and up to 600 m³, with a subdivision from 4 to 8 classes, adaptable in proportion to mix design in order to exploit the entire volume of storage.

Middle plan: dosage system dosage of all components: aggregates, binders, water and additives. This system may adopt different devices depending on the aggregates type and on the requested precision of extraction: air vents, extractors belt conveyors or vibrant extractors can possibly be combine with one another to maximize speed and accuracy of weighing dosage, especially for precast plants;

Lower floor: mixing platform: it can have one or two coupled mixers, planetary or twin shaft mixers, depending on the type of concrete and on the required production capacity; it is also possible adopt multiple weighing systems to minimize the production cycle, working in parallel with two mixers.

PORTABILITY
Despite the significant size of SIMEM Beton Tower plant, once installed on site, the modules that compose the plant are designed to be easily transported and assembled, simply by bolting.
Thanks to the galvanizing of all components, these plants can be easily dismantled and relocated to other sites without being damaged parts.
