The Simem MobyMix series of mobile batching and mixing plants offer the latest technology for all kind of “on-site” concrete production. The MobyMix series are the perfect choice for contractors and ready mix producers in need a mobile solution for projects like roads, airports, tunnels, dams or any other application where mobility and install time are important factors.
Factors that make the MobyMix the right choice are:

• Transport on standard trucks. No special equipment or permits required.
• The heavy and solid structure for mixer and aggregate storage provide a stabile support normally only found on stationary plants
• The aggregate section is designed as a square containing weighing devices and also skip hoist and foldable structure for it, (if applicable) within its limits.
• A unique design of the mixer platform, including the patented foldable legs, allow for a minimum of foundations.
• During transport the mixing platform supports the mixer as well as the foldable structure for the skip hoist drive unit or the belt conveyor.
• Mixer support structure is prepared to support the structure for cement, water and additive dosing units on top of it, and with pre-wiring of electrical and pneumatic equipment, a short install time is guaranteed.
• The Simem MobyMix is delivered in 4 different versions, with capacity from 25 – 90 m³ per hour, integrating (depending on model) the Simem twin shaft or planetary mixers.

TRANSPORT AND INSTALLATION
The dimensions of the mixer support platform and aggregate module are designed so they in transport position will fit within the maximum allowed load on a standard truck. The frames have integrated lifting points for easy lifting operation only needing one crane for unloading from trucks or containers as well as during installation. For the models with aggregate charging into the mixer by belt conveyor the conveyor is above the mixer during transport. During installation the belt is moved into correct position hydraulically.
On site the crane lift the mixing unit using the integrated lifting hooks and the support frame fold down to the ground in a controlled movement.
The next step is to lift the support structure containing water, cement and additive scale, as well as dust collection unit (depending on model), on top of the mixer unit. With all electrical and pneumatic equipment pre-wired and pre-plumbed the install time is reduced to a minimum.

CONCRETE FAST & EASY
The SIMEM MobyMix line has been designed to:
• Guarantee the highest possible quality of concrete.
• Ensure a short delivery time for concrete on-site.
The SIMEM MobyMix series have can integrate either the SIMEM MSO twin shaft or the SIMEM SUN planetary mixers (depending on model). The MobyMix is designed to work with up to 3 cycles simultaneously. This allow for 40-45 cycles per hour giving a very significant output for a very compact mobile plant.

CONTROL SYSTEM
SIMEM MobyMix is delivered with SIMEMS own control system to ensure optimal cycling of the plant.
The plant can be delivered with a range of control rooms providing a climate controlled space for operator and the electrical panels away from dust and noise created by the trucks. The electrical panel is pre-wired with the “plug and go” system so the only electrical installation required internally on the plant is to bring all the wires with plugs in the end to the electrical panel and plug them in to their matching contact that are clearly marked.

MODULAR FLEXIBILITY
The aggregate storage hoppers in the SIMEM MobyMix series are based on a modular design for easy transport and short install time.
• Storage capacity from 20-100 m³ (depending on model)
• Divided in up to 4 separate compartments
• Units are assembled with pins or bolts in precise pre-cut holes. No welding is required.

AGGREGATE LOADING SYSTEM
All SIMEM MobyMix plants can be equipped with loading system for the aggregate to meet the user’s needs in terms of layout.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
The temperature of the concrete, and the control of it, is very important and even more crucial when providing high performance concrete, SCC or large pours. To ensure that the clients requirements are meet, the SIMEM MobyMix series can be supplied with housing, insulated or not, for the complete plant or just parts of it.
The plant and the control system can easily be prepared to work with heating systems as well as cooling solutions as ice and chilled water, satisfying the highest demands in the toughest possible climates!
